Shops in the Wimmera are generally open from Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5 or 5.30pm and on Saturday mornings. In the larger centre of Horsham, there are some department and variety stores that are open longer hours, including on Sundays.
Our experiences in the Wimmera, especially the experience of people who have moved here from the city, is that you really can shop for everything you need in the Wimmera. While we may not have the overwhelming variety and number of shopping areas that the city has, we do have enough to make your life very comfortable, and to meet all of your needs.
